Peter Cannon is a young writer/director that graduated Emerson College in 2015 and cut his teeth in independent film production. He has directed shorts, commercials, virtual reality experiences, all leading up to his debut feature film Exposure.

He balances these projects with whatever writing endeavor he follows in between, and has a growing library of television pilots and features.

He believes that entertainment doesn’t need to be sacrificed for story, and that the strongest messages can be found in the DNA of genre films.

Specifically, the independent film scene has always called to him the strongest with its freedoms and flexibility.

For now, he lives in Georgia with his wife as she attends law school and he writes his next feature. There’s a parallel universe where he became a synth pop musician, and everyone should be thanking their stars that this didn’t happen.
